Kitteh loves fish-shaped bread, with passion.
I have not written any review for the last 3 episodes because I found not much interesting stuff happened back then. Well there was “happiness” in those episodes but they feel like your average slice-of-laifu anime that I think don’t worth my effort to write a review for them. However I must admit that the plot is thickening ever since Rick discovered the thief in episode 06 was Xiao Mei the kitteh girl.
Kitteh reflexes is no match to that of a human.
Continuing from last week where the Le Coeur Bakery opened a café, it now draws many customers that they could barely handle it. Among their regular costumers is of course Xiao Mei who seemed can’t miss the fish-shaped bread everyday and a little boy who seemed to be fetching bread everyday for her mother. In this episode we’re introduced with yet another regular customer, Flora who opens a bar somewhere in the town.
This is the "Flora-san".
It was revealed that Flora was also washed to the shore just like Rick and all three girls of the Le Coeur Bakery. Rick asked her whether she ever had a similar thought like him who are curious about his past. Flora said she did and only gave him a brief answer about that where she decided to live her life just like that because “she have something she need to do there” (in the town).

Flora then invited him to the bar that opens in the night, hinting that Rick might get the answer he was seeking. Flora was half-expecting Rick to come over but then Rick came by and meet a ‘good’ pirate named Dylan there. I’m not sure about Dylan’s role here but there’s a possibility that he is Flora’s ex-husband/ex-boyfriend/ex-sexfriend.
Dylan warned that there’s a chance that a huge warship might attack the town (island) soon and offered Flora to ‘flee’ with him. Flora declined as if she has decided not to rely on Dylan ‘anymore’ (Dylan must have helped her a lot before). Dylan seemed fine with that and then left the island.

On the other hand Kaguya, the girl who recently washed to the shore now has become healthier and might be discharged from the clinic soon. On one night while walking back from Flora’s bar Rick met her who was taking a night stroll. While they were at the seashore Rick asked her the same question (whether she remembers her past or not) but Kaguya seemed not worrying much about it for now.
She should have stayed at the clinic.
The next day Rick voluntarily delivered the bread to Flora’s bar although she didn’t request for it. Then the boy who is one of Le Coeur’s regular customer came and turned out that he is Flora’s son. I guess that was what Flora meant when she said she have something to do in the town (meaning that she already made a family to take care there).
The most interesting part is in this episode is the last few minutes towards the end. Hank went to Xio Mei’s place and they seemed to be plotting something together. Well I don’t mind if that means the KOS-MOS-lookalike ‘robot’ will walk again and I want to see her connection with Kaguya.
When talented people like Hank and this kitteh join forces, something interesting will happen.
I can predict that in the next episode Xaio Mei and Hank will cooperate and utilize each others ability to its fullest in order to regain back what has been confiscated from them by the palace. I don’t care about the palace’s explanation and rationale behind such action because in this case I personally think that Xiao Mei and Hank are victims. Let’s hope that they won’t have to face Rick in the process.
