[Review] NazoKano ep. 06

Learning maths has never been this fun.

Not sure how do I put this but it all started with Tsubaki and Oka bumped into each other on the last day of the summer break. Oka revealed that she and her boyfriend (Ueno) are calling each other by their first names. Of course Tsubaki wanted to do that too but he was worried that it might be too early for that and there’s a possibility that Urabe might not like the idea too.

How she looked like after Tsubaki whispered her first name to her while she was sleeping.

Turned out that Urabe didn’t really reject the idea but both her and Tsubaki are currently oblivious of how they wanted to call each other (or be called by each other) by their first names. Oka managed to dig that after she tasted Urabe’s drool. In one occasion while taking a break at a park Oka instantly woke up from her sleep right after Tsubaki whispered her first name to her.

Tsubaki's first crush.

At one point I started to ‘hate’ Urabe a little, because I think she’s quite selfish and only wanted things between her and Tsubaki to be her way. I mean Tsubaki wanted to take her picture (with her smiling) but she turned his request down because she thought “it’s pointless to fake a smile for a picture?” What the hell was that?

Sad Urabe

That makes me being thankful that Tsubaki met his first crush while waiting for Urabe. If it was not because of that she might still refuse to allow Tsubaki taking her picture. Seriously she should learn more about give-take  in romantic relationship (well they’re still new to this thing though).

Good thing that finally near the end of the episode she agreed to accept Tsubaki’s request (to take her picture) right after she showed him another smiling face. Too bad though the smiling face didn’t last long as she quickly returned to her usual expressionless self. Well at least she made a “funny face” and Tsubaki got the pic to keep in his wallet as what he did with his first crush back then.
