[Review] One loli One episode (Oda Nobuna no Yabou ep. 05)

How many lolis in the picture above? No, I’m not asking any tricky question whatsoever so if your answer is the straight 4 then congratulations, you are now a certified lolicon (limited to 2D lolis only ok!). Assuming that the first episode was exclusive for Nobuna, I must say with every new episode of this show a new loli is acquired. In this episode we’re introduced with yet another loli which I am going to introduce to you shortly. Also take note that I am not complaining (in fact it makes me rejoice!).

Meet Hanbei Takenaka, the greatest war strategist in Japan’s history who has been using ‘his’ intelligence not only to drive away enemies from attacking Mino province but also managed doing that without resorting to any violence. The ‘his’ here is actually the shikigami spirit under the Hanbei’s command who serves the ‘real’ Hanbei as her double. The reason she has been hiding herself was because she was too shy and she hates violence (thus why her tricks in thwarting enemies usually ended with no bloodshed at all).

This episode is all about getting Hanbei into joining Oda and once again Yoshiharu’s “future vision” didn’t work well. I mean he probably had expected Hanbei to be a girl but instead of a samurai, she is an onmyouji (exorcist). Near the end of the episode Yoshiharu helped her escaped from Inabayama Castle at the expense of abandoning the castle they just captured. Not sure how will Nobuna react towards that but I guess that’s fine because they’re now having the greatest tactician on their side.
