Sorry, it’s not me who got married but it’s Saito and Louise. Yes, this is actually a final impression article for Zero no Tsukaima F, the ‘last’ season of ZnT series. Actually there’s not much to say about it but it’s a nice ending too though if possible I’d love to see a harem ending. By harem ending I mean a real harem one and not the unsettled ending.
What really made me curious all this time was whether Saito still have family members in his (our) world because for the past 3 seasons of this series, he seemed didn’t bother much about not being able to return to his world. It is until now that I discovered he does have living family members in his world, thus the Hiraga residence shown in the last episode. By the way his family members also seemed didn’t bother either to look for him. If not why didn’t anybody spot him if he was reported as a missing person?
Of course it wasn’t spared from silly moments too. One BIG example is the coincidence of the solar eclipse with Saito’s return to his world. It would have felt more normal if he spent a few months or years with his family, waiting for the solar eclipse to happen again. You know, solar eclipse don’t occur too often, especially for it to occur in the same place on Earth.
At least the marriage wasn’t interrupted, and Saito was also accepted by Louise’s family, including her sister. Joseph’s death is also pretty much confirmed at this point. Also my dream to see Louise visiting Saito’s world has become true at last, though I wish it could last a bit longer. I wanna see how she adapted herself to the way of life in Saito’s world, where the strata difference between people is mostly the thing of the past.
Overall it’s good. Although I did have a decline of interests in this anime since season 2, it didn’t affect me much and I managed to follow it closely without fail anyway. If anything, I couldn’t stand the borderline ‘ecchi’ (as opposed to borderline hentai). For me there’s no such thing as borderline ecchi because if you don’t want to show bare boobs to the audience then don’t bother to ‘suggest’ it. That’s my message to the anime makers. Now I have to prepare myself for my next targets. Ciao!
